Connecting Google Search Console: a step-by-step guide

GSC verification is how Niched confirms your traffic is real. Here is exactly how to connect, verify, and hit the 100-click threshold.

Niched uses Google Search Console (GSC) as its source of truth for traffic. It's the only way to prove — to us and to creators — that your clicks are real, human, and coming from Google.

Step 1: Add and verify your property in GSC

If you haven't already, add your site to Search Console and complete Google's verification (DNS record or HTML tag). A Domain property (sc-domain:example.com) is best because it covers every subdomain and protocol.

Step 2: Connect it to Niched

On your site's page in Niched, click Connect Google Search Console. You'll authorize read-only access to your GSC data — we never write anything, and we only read click totals.

What we read, and what we don't

  • We read: your trailing 28-day click count, to confirm eligibility.
  • We never read: your queries, your Analytics, or anything write-level.

Step 3: Clear the threshold

A site becomes eligible to earn once it's GSC-verified and reporting 100+ clicks in the last 28 days. Below that? Keep publishing great content — the bar exists to keep placements landing on sites that actually reach people.

If GSC can see the clicks, so can Niched — and so can the creators paying for reach.

Once connected, hit Re-check any time to refresh your numbers.
